Hi, Sofia here! I'm a frontend enthusiast diving into the world of full-stack JavaScript. My focus? Crafting magic with React (Next.js)

About me

As a multipotentialite, I have no “one true calling” the way specialists do. Multipotentialites thrive on learning, exploring, and mastering new skills. Over the past four years, I've worked as a freelancer, wearing multiple hats as a videomaker, motion designer, and project manager. Starting in January 2023, I embarked on a journey to become a JavaScript developer, enrolling in courses like CS50 from Harvard, The Odin Project, and Full Stack Open. In four words, I'm a serial learner.

Projects

  • ToolBox

  • Knight Travails

  • Battleship

ToolBox is an open-source Next.js full-stack application designed to serve as a comprehensive database of the most useful tools available on the internet.

  • React
  • Next.js
  • MongoDB
  • Tailwind
ToolBox

A solution to a "knight travails" problem - i.e. find the shortest path a knight can take to move between two positions on a chessboard. Implemented using a graph BFS search. I know, nothing fancy but I'm really proud of this one.

  • JavaScript
Knight Travails

I've implemented the logic for a Battleship game, primarily focusing on practicing the fundamentals of Test Driven Development. As an additional personal challenge, I used Typescript for the first time.

  • TypeScript
  • Jest
Battleship
